La Monarca Bakery's digital & print spaces require bright, warm, welcoming, and sharp imagery to convey the messaging of the baked goods & coffee brand. Below are a collection of assets I have created over the years for use in Costco, LA Weekly, New York Times, and any other publication that requires strong photography.
LA WEEKLY COVER & STORY PHOTOGRAPHY
With 2 days to organize, direct, shoot, and edit on no budget, staff, or equipment, my team was able to get the CEO to pose in the parking lot of our warehouse. The rest of the day was spent editing & compositing several options that was eventually selected to be on the cover of LA Weekly.
NEW YORK TIMES PHOTOGRAPHY
Another shoot with limited time, limited resources, and a ton of photo compositing & retouching. This time for the New York Times' coverage of the Champurrado. The packaging, the photography, and the final editing for the publication were done by me under extreme time restraints. However, the result of the hard work means we managed to land the front page.
